Cal - 01/27/2022

Callahan ate toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, half of his whole wheat elbow noodles, half of his peas, and ate applesauce.

Lauralea covered for me - for about 30 minutes before breakfast - while I went to the Optometry office to pick up my glasses. This first picture is what Cal was doing when I was preparing to leave. :) Lauralea took the second picture and she'd helped Cal see how to balance everything on the boat. She pointed at good spots to put the pieces and he put them all on the boat. Good job Cal.

Right before Breakfast Miles was pointing at the basket of Easter eggs. "Hide eggs!? Hide eggs!? Hide eggs!?" I said, "Not right now; we're getting ready to eat breakfast." Callahan said, "Well that's gonna wreck the party!!" LOL! "Oh I think this party will keep rolling just fine." :) He cracks me up!!

More hilarity from Cal: Yesterday after Snack Cal was ready to go outside RIGHT NOW! He said, "We have to go outside Right Now!! Because my Mom is coming quickly!" Haha. (Sorry Slick, I know how to tell time and we have about 2 hours.)
Later we were preparing to go outside and I was putting my boots. As I pulled up my pant leg Cal said, "Gary, your skin is beautiful." LOL!! I just about fell off the chair laughing!! 

Here are some more pictures from the boy's activities this morning. They were playing at the Doll House while I was toasting the muffins for breakfast. Second picture: Miles was sorting the colored bears again and Cal was playing with the tinker toys again. They have their preferences! Miles sorts the bears by color and then will frequently just start dumping them from one container into the other container. Cal was building hammers and weapons with his goodies. "Hammer hammer hammer!" "Lock and fire, lock and fire, lock and fire!!" :) Last picture: Cheers for play dough!! Miles was saying "play dough" when he came in the door this morning. (He'd been having fun with play dough at home.)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
