Cal - 02/09/2022

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and ate a large serving of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate some of his Whole 30 Chili with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers, and lots of spices. He ate his whole wheat dinner roll and his mangoes.

Cal said, "Gary, it's a USPA Truck!!" :) "Well that was an excellent try and very close. If you'd drop one letter and then rearrange the reminding three letters you might come up with UPS." Haha. Svea has called it "USP." At least they have all the letters they need!!
Cal was sitting on the mattress with Miles showing Miles his toe and he said, "My Mom cut off this part of my toe at home!" LOL! "Well I hope you're talking about your toenail Cal!!" Ha.

First picture: This was shortly after Cal arrived. I poked the camera around the corner and took this picture because I didn't want to interrupt Cal's singing!! He was standing there singing, "I'm bringing home the Baby Bumblebee!" Very cute Cal!! And good singing by the way!! Second picture: As you can see the Boys had on some bunny ears and were sprinting back-n-forth across the room being crazy!!

Next two pictures: Svea had gotten out the Log Homes building project and she's studying one of the illustrations. Cal walked up and asked if he could join her. (They are doing really well at asking to join instead of just assuming they they can join without asking!!) She asked Cal, "Can you look for this one!?!" He played with her for several minutes before moving on to something else.

Last picture: Cal had joined Svea in the Preschool Room doing some legos. Miles stopped to watch and Cal told Miles, "You're too old for this." Haha. (Meant to say the opposite.) Two minutes later Cal left the legos and joined Miles doing some duplos. (I think that's what the size bigger than legos are called. Although I always refer to the ones in the picture below as legos. I'm confused if that wasn't already apparent! Ha.)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
