Cal - 02/25/2022
Callahan ate brown rice and one raisin for breakfast. For lunch he ate salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, no riced cauliflower/sweet potato mix, and ate mangoes. The Food Program monitor showed up unannounced to observe a meal at breakfast, but the kids did great and it was a very minimal interruption. She has a 1 year old and 3 year old herself so maybe they sensed how comfortable she was around the kids. She was getting a kick out of Miles saying, "I'm done, I'm done" while shoveling more food in his mouth!! Haha. Cal and Svea were already done and playing and that was adding to his need to be done!! And I had no deficiencies so that was good as well!!
Cal and Svea were playing a "game" where he was holding onto her dress (nightgown) and they were running back-n-forth from the couch to the window; about 100 times!! :) They crashed and both were howling. We snuggled for awhile and then Cal asked Svea, "Do you wanna play that game again?" Well of course she did! What could possibly go wrong!! :)
While watching Cal this morning I've came to the conclusion he has great potential to be a Politician!! He was saying, "No" while shaking his head "Yes." Haha. Sorry, just amusing myself again!!
Then all three kids were running back-n-forth across the room from couch to window. I didn't realize it was a "race" and Miles wasn't aware of it either, but of course that didn't really matter!! It's just an amusing side note!! When they were done Svea announced the winners. She told Cal, "You won first, I'm second, and Miles is three." Miles immediately said, "No!! Me Two!! Me Two!" Hahaha. That's funny!
Morning pictures: Svea proudly showing off the goodies she brought from home for them to play with. And she is usually pretty good about sharing so her stuff doesn't immediately end up back on her cubby!! Second picture: Playing "Ring around the Rosy" and "We all fall down" is always the favorite part!! Last picture; I can't believe I caught them close enough together to get them all in one picture.
