Cal - 03/03/2022

Callahan ate blueberry bagel and a large serving of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate Hamburger & Sausage Pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side), and bites of pineapple.

Funny note from this morning: Before Lunch Cal was being a little skunk - actually a big skunk in Svea's estimation - anyhow she was reading him the Riot Act and giving him a stern lecture with authority. My favorite part of the lecture was when she said, "Cal! You are acting just like Miles!!" LOL!! That was SO funny! And she was SO serious which made it even funnier.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Avi was making a "bridge" for the kids to go under. Svea got directly under Avi and then was pushing up as hard as she could with her head. Ha. Miles was going back and forth under Avi while Callahan appears to be taking aim at Avi's butt with the drill/gun! Haha. Avi was enjoying the challenge of staying in position!

Next picture: Svea set up her ice cream toys she brought from home just as soon as she arrived this morning. Cal grew tired of the arranging and rearranging and arranging some more!! He said, "WHEN are we gonna eat?!?" Haha. The planning and the processing are most important to Svea!! Following picture: Cal was putting the different colored shaped large beads on the rods. The activity is set up to follow a pattern, but we'll work on that later! Ha. Third picture: Cal wanted me to take a picture of him doing some Butt Bombs.

Last picture: I was focused on Cal telling me his story and I took his picture not realizing Miles was in the background. Then I saw Miles was trying to drill an additional hole in his nose. Haha. Cal was wanting me to take the phone. "My Mom is speaking on there. Her say her wants to talk to you!" Oh really? What does her want? :) He tried to come up with an answer; "Hmmmm......hmmmm, I just can't guess." Haha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
