Cal - 04/04/2022

Callahan ate most of his Cheerios and most of his banana for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his ground beef topped with avocado, bites of whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and ate his strawberries. 
I already shared some of this information with Parents, but we had the best time on the Upper Oregon coast last week and thank you all for allowing us to do that. We learned lots about digging Clams, and I walked many trails learning about where Lewis & Clark spent the winter before their return trip. I learned some Maritime history about the area as well as some Military history. (Favorite subjects of mine!)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange yesterday and as soon as Cal was done eating breakfast he asked if he could do an "Av-i-tiv-ity!!" I love how he says activity and I'm not about to correct him!! Sorry!! First picture; Svea was in the Play Room when Cal said that and she came right out and was chastising him a bit; "Cal!! What about our Picnic!?!?" Oops! Busted! As you can see from the picture he's doing his best to ignore her. Ha. (That's never a good idea Cal!!)  :)

Next two pictures: Cal was giving Miles a Yellow toy. (I think it's a TeleTubby. Only 20 plus years out dated!!) It was cute because Miles was talking about his yellow School Bus, yellow plate, and yellow cup. So Cal found the yellow toy to add to his collection. Following picture: Cal found Svea's necklace - she'd brought from home - and took the opportunity to check it out. :)

Last picture; I'm calling this a "Portrait of a Modern Couple." Ha. Why talk directly when you have your phone handy!?! At least they're NOT texting!! :) Earlier Svea had been showing Cal the Proper way to drink Tea. "This is how you drink Tea with your pinky out." Ha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
