Cal - 04/14/2022

Callahan ate waffle and mango/strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat tortilla, ate sweet potatoes, and two servings of cherries. 

Callahan basically answered Lauralea and I with the same answer when we asked him basically the same question: "How was the Blippi Show?!!?" Cal said, "Good!" Then the second question; "Did you like Blippi?" Cal said, "No, he didn't give me anything." Haha. That sure made us laugh. I'm assuming some kids must have gotten something and some didn't. Probably depending on seating arrangement. Is that correct? 

First picture: The boys were at the window waiting for Momma Emily to drive up. These crows were busy eating and didn't notice or care when the boys pounded on the window waving bye. Second picture: Svea was doing a Preschool Activity using the dry erase markers. On this particular page you had to circle the groups with the "smallest" amount of items. Svea was explaining it to Cal: " Circle the few." Haha. Nice job Svea; not sure he quite got that, but it was a good attempt.

Next picture: Right after breakfast Cal asked if he could do some puzzles. Of course. (And you don't need to ask.) Last picture: The kids have been asking to do some Dot Painting and we finally remembered at the right time. Svea was telling elaborate stories about her Unicorn that she's dot painting; it's name and all it's special qualities. Ha. The boys be like; "Could we just dot paint?" :)

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
