Cal - 04/25/2022

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of ground turkey topped with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, tomatoes, and ate cherries.

I asked Cal; "Were you, Hudson, and Emerson the only kids in your group at the Water Park?" Cal said, "Yes, and Erica." LOL!! I loved that. 

First picture: Svea had showed Cal everything in her Morning Bag and it held lots of books. They looked at several of them and then we read them at Story Time. When I took the picture this was the conversation; Svea said, "Which one do you like?" Cal was pointing and said, "I like these over here." She immediately corrected him, "You can only pick one!" Ha. (Which ONE do you like; not ONES.) Boy Cal, you gotta pay close attention so you don't get in trouble with Teacher Svea!

Next picture: It was nice to see Micala, Nicole, and baby Paisley for a few minutes and know they seem to be thriving; not just surviving. (They came to Missoula for a Baby check up.) The kids were all excited to see the baby and I took this when they were telling the baby goodbye. Miles said, "She's so cute." Yes and it was cute for you to say so!! :)

Last picture: I thought this was pretty cute. Cal and Svea were playing with this set of toys - I've no idea what it's called!! Cal said, "Hey Gary! Look! I made a paper towel thing/holder." Ha. Good job Cal. I love that you identified your creation for me. So fun.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
