Cal - 06/01/2022

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and two large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of pork roast, ate whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, potatoes, and mango/strawberry mix. Lunch conversation: Cal said, "I stay in a motel." Miles said, "I stay in motel too with swimming pool." Cal said, "No! That's not a swimming pool! It's the Beach!!" Haha. They can only think about their own experience and those conversations crack me up!!

Miles and Cal were pretty happy to see each other this morning and it was very cute. And they played together without conflict for maybe an hour. (That's pretty good!!) First picture: Miles said, "Watch this sucker go faster!" Haha. Second picture: They were arguing about taking turns so I momentarily alleviated the problem by letting them both sit in the chair while I spun it around! :)

Next picture; Svea asked if they could make a tent with the big blanket so here it is. She had them doing all different sorts of make-believe play and it was actually pretty impressive to watch. Guess what one of their make-believe plays consisted of!?! Here's what Svea announced: "Ok Guys!! I have Covid." She saw me looking at her and said, "We're just pretending!" Haha. Oh good!

Last picture; The kids were putting on dress-up clothes and Svea said, "Guys, we're dressing up for a fashion show!" Haha. My favorite part of the fashion show was when Svea grew tired of wearing a hat. So she simply made a proclamation!! "Whoever's a Girl does NOT have to wear a hat!!" LOL!! Hey, when you're in charge you can just make up the rules as you go!!

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
