Cal - 06/07/2022

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and a large serving of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.

The blister/sore on Cal's foot and the continuing mystery behind Cal having no socks yesterday. Well he DID have socks and he found them this morning. They were in the book rack!! He showed me the band-aid on his foot and said, "This is not a sock." Haha. Then he said, "I can't hear my foot bleeding!" Haha. Well that's good. That would be scary! 
Right before Nap Time I went into the bathroom to check on Cal's progress and he was squatted/perched on the toilet. Why are you sitting like that!? He said, "I'm going haywire!!" LOL!! Hmmm....I wonder where he got that phrase. :)

First picture: Cal is keeping an eye on what Miles is doing with the car ramp. There is another car ramp toy - to the left, out of the picture - that Cal was playing with. Second picture: This was the CUTEST thing ever. I'd asked Miles if he was wearing "underwear." He told me they are called, "Undies!!" Cal heard that and he asked Miles; "What does your undies look like?" So Miles fumbled around for half a minute and finally found his "underwear!" Haha. If you zoom in on Cal's face you'll see the big grin on his face. Cal yelled, "It's got BLIPPI on it!!" That was so cute!!

I have to Post this next picture: I've never seen Cal work hard on these puzzles/activities before. And if he did it was for a very brief time. There are 20 sets of 2 each and they are opposites. For example: Day - Night, back - front, sad - happy, young - old, etc. I was very happy and impressed with how much effort and time he put into doing these. And he too was very proud of his accomplishments. He had to come show me after every one he found. He ended up doing 15 out of the 20! Well done Cal!!

Next two pictures: I got a good picture of each boy jumping onto the mattress. Then flopping on the mattress and hanging out. I should mention that these two are the only ones here today. Svea's cousin is still in town so she's with her Grandma.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
