Cal - 06/13/2022

Callahan ate bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken topped with avocado, ate whole wheat pita bread, bite of cucumbers, and ate his pears. Breakfast conversation: Atley to Cal and Miles; "Hey Guys! Did you know my Dad hit the brakes last night and Lexi (older dog) fell down and Holland (puppy dog) got her head stuck!?!" No I doubt if the boys heard the news Atley. :)

First picture; Well Atley is here today and the boys are happy to have her join us for the summer. Whatever Atley did the boys wanted to do the same thing! Or at the least hang out close by. Did you see where Cal is at in the picture. Under the blue balance beam reaching his hand up to pester Atley while she is doing some "homework." :) Second picture: Miles was asking to do Play dough - and Cal joined in as well - so  after breakfast that's what we did. Just an FYI, after meals and activities like this I have the kids check their seats and under the table to pick up whatever they've dropped in the process. 

Next picture: I heard some commotion around the corner and here's what I found. Two boys going at each other - Miles using his hands and Cal using his feet any way they could! (Those are Cal's toes you see on Miles' chin.) Goofy suckers. Ok boys, let's find a different activity besides your favorite activity!! :) Following picture: Let's go for a walk to the irrigation ditch and see what we can find!! Last picture: The boys running off some energy!! Ok that's far enough, now head back toward me!! :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
