Cal - 06/21/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of "candy grapes" for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and three servings of apple bites.

First picture; Cal was hiding from me under the rug. So I just stood there waiting and he couldn't help but peek out to see what was happening!! Ha. Second picture: I couldn't see what they were looking at, but I heard Svea telling Cal, "Those are not ears; those are horns." :)

Next picture: We're heading for the irrigation ditch again to see what there is to see!! :) Notice they're both wearing "pads" on their legs. Cal was pretty certain they would "keep me from falling." Haha. Uhh...mmm, no, but they might protect your legs when you DO fall!! :) Second picture: Svea initially said, "Weeds are dandelions." Then she said, "Cal, these are weeds." Cal said, "No, those are dandelions." Svea said, "Dandelions are weeds!!" 

Next picture: We went to a different culvert today and Svea spotted some more baby water skippers and she's pointing them out to Cal. Shortly after I took this picture Svea was chastising Cal and telling him to "stop spitting in the creek!!" Ha. Last picture; We made it back home and the kids wanted to play at the sand table. I see Svea still has on her "knee pads" and so does Cal; except you can't see his!

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
