Cal - 07/06/2022

Callahan ate French toast mixed with strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of his Whole 30 Chili with meat, tomatoes, peppers, sweet potatoes, and lots of spices. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and ate his mangoes.

I frequently mention the "goodbye waves" at the window because I'm listening to what the silly kids are saying. This morning as Cal waved bye to Atley's Daddy Brad, Cal said, "Goodbye Mr Potato Head." Atley said, "Goodbye Mr Cuckoo Cat!!"

First picture: Cal was super happy to see Avilene this morning. As you can see from the picture she was mauling him, but he was loving it! I'm making that assessment because he kept coming back for more!! Haha. Second picture: I think this is pretty cute. Avi and Atley are playing "Crazy Eights" and the two littles have paired up with the big kids of their choice. "I'm on Atley's team." "I'm on Avi's team." The big girls are serious about the game while the Littles pose for a picture. :) Third picture; Dog piling on Avilene; which Avi was loving!!

Next picture; Svea doing some more Art and this time she's making Kites for Cal, Atley, and herself. And she cut them out as well. Second picture; Well we gotta make some wind to fly the kites! Last picture; We took a little walk to the irrigation ditch and it's still running some water. Cal and Svea were sure that Avi was scaring off all the water skippers; except I never saw any when we arrived.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
