Cal - 08/08/2022

Callahan ate corn chex cereal and one or two raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken topped with avocado, ate three servings of warm and buttered whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumbers, and pears.

It was fun to see Callahan back at Daycare today! Here are a couple of  one-liners from him!!
"Hey Gary, do you know who else is a Yapper in my Family! Hudson!!" Yes, I'm aware of that! Haha.
"Gary! Do you know those bug biters that bite Kids?" Yes. "I hate em!!"
Just an FYI, whenever you guys get together with other families and I ask Cal, "Who was there?" Erika always makes the Top 5 in Cal's List. So she's obviously pretty special to him. 

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange including all the Preschool Activities this weekend and Cal grabbed the drill tools first. I guess it reminded him of a gun because he said, "Gary, I wish I had a machine gun, but my Mom says no gun." LOL!! Now that hit my funny bone. Your Mother seems to be a fairly reasonable person Callahan and I agree you may be a little too young for dangerous weapons!!

Next picture; Cal playing the Drums and singing; "Do you know what I'm saying!?" Haha. That was funny. Also notice that his Apron had been turned into a Cape. Ha. Following picture: Working on a Caterpillar puzzle with Miles. Last Picture: I asked them if they wanted to go outside for fresh air and the girls all yelled, "NO!" and the boys yelled, "YES!" So I watched the boys from the door window outside riding the bikes. They were riding in circles on the Patio like Puppies chasing their tails.

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened. Cal - 08/18/2022

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy."
