Cal - 8/4/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat toast, bites of beets, and ate applesauce.  

First picture;  This is the first thing Callahan asked me to do after Daddy left this morning; He made it very plain he wanted me to change the green piece of equipment from "steps" to "slide."  (You turn it over and swap it end for end.)  He loves to play on the slide and then of course he always has to shove the yellow base piece away from the mattress.  

Next picture: Callahan is playing with the "viewfinder" which has several animals to look at.  If you look at the top of it you can see the little "viewfinder" on the left.  That's what you're supposed to look through. Haha.  So I offered to help him see the animals, but he declined the offer.  :)  

We played with bubbles outside and Cal just kept standing there saying, "bubbles, bubbles, bubbles, bubbles."  But he wouldn't run or go for any.  So I filled the space around him with bubbles.  And he just stood there grinning.  Haha.

Last two pictures; Have I mentioned that Cal likes the slides!?!  I think this is the first time I"ve seen Callahan go down a slide on his butt.  :)  Then he went running back around to do it again and right back to his preferred method.  Haha.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
