Cal - 9/24/2020

 Hi Everyone!  Just a quick note to say there will be no Blog today and tomorrow.  The Blogs will resume on Monday the 28th.  I have a Dr appointment today and my excuse for tomorrow; our 3 Grandchildren are here.  It's lots of fun and VERY busy which is a challenge to take pictures and notes for the Blogs.  Thank you.

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat noodles, ate cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.  Callahan frequently asks kids and me; "How is your day?" Well yesterday at breakfast time he was in his highchair and he said, "Nora, how is your day?" No response. "Nora, how is your day?" No response. He didn't give up. Ha. "Nora, how is your day?" Nora's irritated response; "My day hasn't even started!" Hahah. I about fell off the stool laughing. Uhhh Callahan...I don't think Nora's a morning person. Hahaha. That's only funny because I'm a morning person. Lauralea is not a morning person. When we worked together and had 12 kids in a Group Home, Lauralea would be "awake" to communicate about 10:00 am. Callahan - 11/30/2020

Callahan ate a large serving of bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, and three servings of pears.   First picture:  This may be the first picture I've taken of Cal in the chair and Miles on the outside.  :)  Cal was sitting there waiting expectantly, patiently for the ride that never materialized!!  Haha.  Apparently Miles took a step or two this morning, but I never saw it!  The girls screamed excitedly and that was the end of that!!  Probably scared the poor kid. :)  Following picture: Reading books on the couch with Miles. Cal - 2/14/2020

Callahan ate some cream of wheat cereal and tasted the dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he had several bites of a chicken combination with cabbage, sweet potatoes, and Brussel sprouts.  He ate a bite of brown rice and a large serving of pineapple. These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  Drinking from the faucet!  Ha!  This is a play sink with NO attached water in case someone is concerned!!  (Tu Tu - Haha!)  Hey Tu Tu, When I looked at this picture I decided Cal had been watching Daddy and Pappy get drinks from the faucet!!  :)  Second picture is from yesterday afternoon as well.  He was just experimenting with how far backwards he could lean and thankfully he didn't lose his grip.
