Cal - 10/26/2020

Callahan ate whole wheat Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate hamburger, whole wheat hamburger bun, avocado, taste of tomatoes, and ate mandarin oranges.    

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and like always the kids were busy as could be. Svea came just before lunch, but she verbalized it this way; "Why do you have all these different toys Gary?!? I've never seen them!!"  Haha.  (It's been 16 weeks since these toys were out.)  So maybe that's the way it is for kids her age and younger.  They certainly play like they've never seen them before!!  First picture; Miles and Callahan with the phones; Miles was holding it up to his ear jabbering.

Next picture:  I took this picture after Callahan spotted a tiny little logo on Miles' shirt.  The logo is about 3 inches North East of Cal's finger - As long as you're sitting and facing the correct direction.  Haha.  Sorry, but as everyone knows I like to amuse myself!!  (And I'm not really sorry!)  

Lauralea was sitting on the couch talking to us this morning and Callahan crawled up there and snuggled up close to her.  It was so cute.  He's a little love bug and she was enjoying it.  Last picture; Cal had been going across the floor on his knees and watching himself in the mirror.  I wasn't able to get a picture before he was done, but he went and stood in front of the mirror instead.  Haha.  Still a cute picture!

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
