Cal - 11/05/2020

Callahan ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles.  He ate cauliflower and fruit salad.   

I have a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon outside.  Cal was dragging this ice cream cart up and down the sidewalk like this.  Ha.  I think he liked the (irritating) sound it was making.  Haha.  Next picture:  He and Svea were playing on the teeter-totter and Svea was singing, "Teeter totter bread and water, wash your hands in dirty water."  (Where'd she learn that!?!  Haha.)  Then at the end she was combining it with "Ring around the Rosy."  "And we all fall down."  And they'd fall off. Over and over.  Laughing and giggling.  

We had a fun and busy morning; the first time in a week that all 6 kids are here.  Next picture; Cal put on this headband by himself and was jumping around on the mattress.  I remember Bubba wearing a headband and posting a picture in his Blog; probably the same Nike headband.  Ha.  Last picture;  All three of the little ones were playing with the food toys.  Then Miles crawled up on the book rack and played with the faucet and faucet handles.  This is how this age group plays; playing near each other, but not "sharing" the same toy or toys.  (Parallel Play.)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
