Cal - 12/01/2020

Callahan ate blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and raspberries.  

First picture:  Cal has on one dress-up rubber boot; a rain boot.  (It's a little blurry.)  He was walking around looking at the boot saying, "cowboy cowboy cowboy."  Haha.  Yesterday Svea was wearing them and calling them "cowboy boots."  :)

Next picture:  I was watching Callahan read these books and then I realized what he was doing/saying.  When I read this book to the kids I use the kid's names in place of the names that are in the book.  It's a book about helping friends, being a good friend, and loving friends.  He was reading it and saying, "Cal Cal, Atley, Vey Vey." Over and over.  So cute.

Last picture:  The three big girls will occasionally take an activity to the fence so the little ones can watch them.  This really doesn't happen very often as everyone is usually off doing their own thing.  Svea, Miles, and Cal stayed right there watching for at least 10 - 15 minutes.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Next picture: Cal actually did quite a bit of Art - although I think he eventually tossed most of it in the trash. He was doing stickers, drawing, and gluing with the glue stick. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. So you can probably guess what Cal was asking him, right!? "Can I come in?!?" "Can I come in?" Can I come in?" Oh sure Cal, there is lots of room, come on in!! :) Silly kids. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha. Second picture: Cal and Miles after a spider - they said they saw one - I never saw it. They ended up jostling for territory that the imaginary (maybe) spider had just vacated. Haha.
