Cal - 03/02/2021

Callahan ate two servings or blueberry bagel and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice, half of broccoli, and ate raspberries.  

Lauralea blasted out a big loud sneeze this morning and Cal said, "Lauralea are you ok!?!" LOL!! Cracked me up! That was so funny. Then later at breakfast time he saw Lauralea again and tried to "boss her around." He pointed at a chair and said, "Lauralea sit here." Then added; "Right now." Haha. After breakfast I had him cleaned up and he wanted to hang out in his highchair and watch the big kids. "I stay here." First picture: So he watched an experiment we did with some raw eggs that have been soaking in vinegar since Science on Thursday. We rubbed the shell (more like skin now) off and you could see the yolk moving around inside. The experiment: Will they bounce? Yes, if you hold them about 6 - 8 inches above the table. Haha. It's funny because the membrane around the outside is very thin. 

Next picture: Svea and Cal were playing "Doctor" this morning. (Don't worry; I'm keeping a close eye on these people. Ha.) Svea was apparently the "patient," but she was sure bossing the "Doctor" around!! Haha. "Give me a shot!" "Give me a medicine!" "Give me a sticker!" LOL!! The sticker was especially funny; You've been such a cooperative patient!! 

Two more pictures of Cal playing with Svea. First was some "hide and seek" which is always hilarious at this age, but hey love it. Cal said, "I find you!" Of course he also watched her hiding under the cozy corner rug. Ha. Last picture: Cal was covering Svea with pillows and stuffed animals on the chair. Cal said, "Svea is cozy." Well she does have her eyes closed!!  :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
