Cal - 04/09/2021

I burned the brown rice so we went with corn chex cereal along with the raisins. Callahan ate two servings of corn chex and most of raisins. For lunch he ate salmon, bite of whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and most of mangoes.

First picture: Cal asked to do some coloring this morning and he colored frantically for 2.4 minutes and then he was done. Ha. So he did some stickers too. He was getting the hang of the stickers; it's hard to pull them off his fingers, turn them over, and push onto the paper. "Sticky part down. Sticky part down." And he was getting the hang of it.

Next picture; Callahan and Miles watching the little doggie (Svea brought with her) singing and dancing and they were getting a kick out of it. What's the song you ask: "I want Candy." Hmmm...interesting choice for a kid's toy, but whatever. (Depends on how you interpret the song and it's been around for about 55 years so there are a lot of interpretations!! Ha!) It's got a cool beat and the boys were loving it.

Last picture: Cal had the "Baby Beluga" book and started singing it loudly. He was on tune and doing great with the words. (Having the book upside-down was having no ill effects. Ha.) Svea was in the Preschool Room doing Art at the table and immediately joined him and was singing along perfectly. They couldn't see each other and it didn't matter. It was very cool.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
