Callahan ate French toast and ate two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey mixed with two servings of avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and cherries.

One of my all-time favorite things about taking care of children; listening to them talk as they learn language. The way they formulate their sentences without proper structure is frequently hilarious and Svea does some classics. This is a pretty simple one, but it's still cute. She was putting food toys in her mouth and then Cal started putting food toys in his mouth. Of course she needed to "report" his violations to me!! "Hey Gary, Cal got MY germs on me." Haha. I think you'll survive!

Last night while I was playing with Cal at Bubba's ballgame I asked Cal if he loved (cousin) Nora. She was listening and she laughed hard when he said, "No." I told Lauralea about it and Lauralea was quizzing Cal when I took this first picture. She said, "Hey Cal, who do you love?" Cal said, "I love you and Gary." That was so cute. He's no dummy; he knows when to suck up to the right people. :)

Next picture; Cal never hesitated for a second when Avi told him to get on her back. Miles, on the other hand, wasn't sure what she wanted. Ha. (Miles doesn't have a big brother at home.) Following picture: Lauralea is going into her office on Wednesdays now - one day per week. The boys were slightly confused because we've been calling one of the backrooms "Lauralea's office."

So we went outside this morning to beat the heat of the afternoon. The kids had so much fun. Their first observation about the lawn was hilarious as they ran through the grass making comments about how tall the grass is. Nora expressed what everyone was thinking; "Gary!! You grass really REALLY needs to be cut!!" Haha. Yes I know and Tate is coming tomorrow because he couldn't make it today. :) Next picture: I almost missed this picture, but the Garbage Men waved at the kids this morning. Last picture: Svea, Cal, and Miles on the teeter-totter outside.
