Cal - 08/12/2021

Callahan ate blueberry bagel and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of hamburger & sausage pizza with the meats, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and ate his pineapple on the side too.  

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and only Callahan and Atley were here. So we got out the Robot Vacuum in preparation for a visit (today) from the Food Program monitor. Of course Callahan loved watching the Vacuum do it's thing!

Next picture: The boys were playing with the food toys and I thought it was cute when they were both drinking some orange juice! :) Following two pictures of Miles and Cal playing around and on the mattress this morning. Callahan was standing beside the chair and said, "I want to get down and play!" He was already "down" so I say, "Sounds good, start playing." Ha. So he got on the floor and started crawling around and Miles joined him. Later, they were back at the same area jumping, laughing, and being silly.

Last picture: If you inspect this picture closely you'll see that Callahan and Atley are NOT kissing! Ha. During Science with Lauralea we talked about trees and we'd collected lots of samples. I'd peeled the bark off a little branch of Douglas Fir and off a little branch of Ponderosa Pine. So they're smelling the samples. Nora said, "Oh my gosh! It smells like sweetness!!" Haha. I agree and I love it.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone.
