Cal - 09/15/2021

Callahan ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries - mixed together - for breakfast. For lunch he ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail. Washing up for breakfast Cal said, "Gary you did a good job helping me wash." Well thank you for your vote of confidence. :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and the boys had held hands a couple of times in the house. I wasn't able to get a picture, but then they did it again outside coming up the sidewalk. Cal said, "Miles, you're my friend." So sweet. However don't make the mistake of thinking this will result in less conflict!! I've never seen that happen yet and I've witnessed lots of hugs and handholding over the years. Hahaha. I think I'm a realist, not cynical. I do believe it's sincere in the moment. :)

I'd take a dollar for every time this morning Svea said, "Cal" "Hey Cal" CAL!" "HEY CAL!". Ok, you get the point. And they played together ALL morning. Next two pictures: She got Cal all covered with pillows and settled into the cozy corner. AND she told him to sit there while she worked on their "cave." Second picture: Yup, he's following orders and she's almost done with the cave. Hilarious. She told him; "Cal, you need to be a good listener. Like I am." :) Third picture: Ok, this must be true love because take it from me Cal NEVER wears the rabbit ears like this!! Never. Svea said, "No not like that Cal, do it like this." And in the fourth picture there goes the happy couple. Haha. 

I posted a picture in Svea's Blog that I took while she was talking to Cal. She got very distracted by the mirror of course!! Haha. So funny. What she was saying was even funnier! She said, "Hey Cal! I got this dress from Nora and Sophie Boyle. They are your cousins, they are my cousins, they are everyone's cousins. (I'm dying laughing) Georgia is my cousin."

Last picture; I thought this was so cute. I was coming up the hallway and the boys were watching for me! They do the same thing watching for Lauralea coming out of her office.
