Cal - 09/16/2021

Callahan ate two servings of waffle and two servings of Mango/Strawberry for breakfast. For lunch he ate three servings of ground turkey, ate whole wheat tortillas, half of his sweet potatoes, and ate cherries. I have a stool for the kids to wash before meals at the kitchen sink. So I guide Miles' and Cal's hands and when I feel resistance I tell them to put their hands under the water, or soap, and then sometimes I say, "Don't fight me." Cal of course remembers all of that and he sounded so proud at Lunch as he washed he said, "I didn't even fight you!" Haha. Thank you. I appreciate that!!

I was showing Cal a video of my Grandson Gideon running across the lawn. (Buck naked of course- rednecks! Ha - they live in a rural setting.) They've had LOTS of rain in Louisiana, the ground is saturated, and water standing on the lawn; and it was raining in the video. Gideon fell face-first and it was pretty funny. Callahan asked, "Why do they have the sprinkler on?" That made me laugh. I don't think they even own a sprinkler. No reason to. I told Cal their sprinkler is called a "Louisiana Super Soaker." :)

First picture: Cal was actually trying to get away from my camera. Haha. If you saw this in Live Mode you'd see him immediately whip his head away from me. Ha. Following picture: Svea was preparing some food and I heard Cal say, "Ok Momma I will do that." :) 

Next picture: Svea built the entire "cave" while Cal waited again - just like yesterday. Svea had to go potty in the middle of building it and told Cal to stay put! She said, "Pinky swear you won't tip the blocks over while I'm gone!!" (It was a command, not a question!) Cal said, "Pinky swear!" :) They were touching the book rack with their feet and Svea told Miles he'd be able to touch the books after he did some growing!! The last picture made me quietly laugh to myself!! Svea had put on this dress from the dress-up clothes and she was trying to get Cal's attention! "Cal."  "Cal!"  "Cal!!"  "CAL!!!" Look at my dress!! This couple may need some counseling or at least some helpful hints directed at the male person!! :)

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
