Cal - 09/20/2021

Callahan ate bran cereal and several raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, half of his whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumbers, and two servings of pears.

I've mentioned several times about Svea the Queen being the boss and Cal frequently does defer to her. However not always and here's an example. Cal was building with the blocks and told Svea it was a "vacuum." Svea said, "Well it looks like a bed." Cal said, "No it's a vacuum." "Looks like a bed." "No it's a vacuum." When it comes to vacuum cleaners he's an expert and he'll back down to no one. Haha. 

I have a couple notes and a picture left over from Friday afternoon. 
Svea said, "Cal! Do you wanna wrestle? I'll be gentle with you." LOL. I roared!
Svea was adorned with several purses and looking at herself in the mirror; and obviously impressed too! She said, "Hey Cal, I'm the fanciest person in the world." So cute. (Think Fancy Nancy.)\
Picture: It always amuses me when the youngest are pulling the wagon. Svea said, "He's going slow! I want him to go fast!" :) 

Next picture; Svea and Cal said they were "going to Grandma's House!" Then they decided they needed to build "Grandma's House" first!! Ha. And they had their own bedrooms and were now "taking a nap."  Last two pictures: So Miles is with his Grandma today and will be back tomorrow. I needed to get a Birthday Card so we went to the store and the kids loved it. There was a little drizzle of rain, but they didn't care and jabbered all the way there and back. In the store: "I really want that, I really want that, I really want that." Haha. We took a different route on the way home and went by the barn at the North end of Rainbow Drive. Svea recognized it and told Cal; "This is the way to my Mom's house!" Haha. That made me laugh. She has seen that barn many times on the way home!!

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy." Cal - 08/10/2022

Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
