Cal - 09/28/2021

Callahan ate bites of waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, two servings of whole wheat tortilla, ate two servings of corn, and ate apple bites. 

First picture: Svea was working on coloring a coffee filter and then we sprayed water on it to watch the colors run. The boys wanted to join her so they were doing Art 30 minutes before breakfast. Their pieces all came out very pretty. Avilene started it yesterday afternoon and her masterpiece is on the table although I didn't intentionally put it into the picture!! Ha. 

Next picture; Cal and Miles were pushing the chair together around and around. Cal is just enough bigger that Miles has to go pretty fast to keep up, but at least they were going in the same direction! Earlier they were going in opposite directions!! Silly boys!! Following picture: Ok, Cal is NOT in this picture, but Svea was discussing their conflict over the scooter at soccer practice! Look at her face! :) She said, "Cal why were you doing that!?!" I couldn't hear Cal's answer, but Svea said, "That does not make any sense!!" Oh man I roared. So funny. 

Last picture: Cal picked up the stethoscope and said, "Ok I will check you." And Svea put on the stethoscope! Haha. There happens to be an "Owl" on Svea's dress and Cal said, "The owl's all good." Haha.

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. He makes me laugh so much. Here's to you Cal; or "Bob" or "Bob Sanks." Love you so much. Here are two parting pictures: Cal and Miles playing "Ring around the Rosy." Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
