Cal - 02/08/2022

Callahan ate a bite of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, most of his beets, and ate applesauce. 

I'm combining two quotes here from our Story Time this morning. Miles wanted to read; "Frosty, Frosty, Frosty." Ok we'll read Frosty. We were reading along and I was letting Miles finish the lines for me. "With two eyes made out of cold." Haha. (Coal.) Then another book had a picture of a "crescent moon" and we've labeled it "crescent moon" many times. What's that kind of moon called? Miles said, "Yellow." (And he was right about the color.) Cal said, "Cussed." Haha. Well it starts with a "C." So Cal was calling it a "crest" moon. "We saw a crest moon going to Sophie's game."

First picture: Svea had only been here a couple of minutes when I took this picture. She knows what happens when she brings something from home into the Daycare. You gotta share it, or put it out on your cubby. And of course Cal knows it too and immediately raced over to the couch. She was not terribly thrilled, but the pillow was able to stay in the Daycare Room. Second picture: Cal and Svea were building block cars, boats, and motorcycles. I asked, "Is it a horse?" Svea said, "It's a horse and a motor." Ohhh.... "And here's how you know; it says motor-horse on it." Haha. I see. Well did you know your motor-horse is leaning to the side?!?! :)

Last picture: The kids were all doing Art work at the same time although Cal was more excited to do some play dough!! :) We'll do that after nap Cal if you don't leave early.

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
