Cal - 05/02/2022

Callahan ate Cheerios and banana for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, ate most of his whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and strawberries. 

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon and this was SO cute and funny. While the boys were taking naps Svea was making a "Book." After they woke up she had them sit beside her and read them her story. Apparently it was a "Bedtime Story!!" Because she told them to go to sleep and they hesitated. She yelled; "GO TO SLEEP!!" And they IMMEDIATELY flopped over onto the mattress. Geez it was so funny. Look closely at Miles; he's got his eye shut! 

This morning it was just Cal and Svea here. Miles is arriving early afternoon. The kids were talking about yesterday at the soccer game. Cal mentioned that Hudson, Avi, and Nora all play on the same team. I said, "Emerson plays on Svea's team." Cal said, "He's my buddy." Svea, "He's my buddy too." Cal looked at Svea for a long time and I could tell he didn't really like that statement. Cal, "He's my best buddy." Svea, "He's my best friend." Haha. Ok, you get the idea where this conversation is headed!! Me; "Are you two ready for Story Time!?!" :) Ha.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and the kids had a busy morning playing and exploring with everything. Here are some pictures from their morning. Cal in the Spiderman suit and Batman hat. :) Following picture: Svea and Cal reading books in the Preschool Room. "You guys can move that highchair." Ha. Third picture; Svea telling a story about the sea creatures and making it up as she goes. It was a bit too "Dark" for my taste! The Mother and Baby both died. Yikes. Last picture; What are you guys doing? Svea said, "We're getting things lined up for the Parade." It was very obvious the Princess was in charge of the Parade. She said, "Cal! Stop drumming." He ignored her. She said, "Cal!! Do you want to be in the Parade?!?" Cal, "Yes." Svea, "Then STOP drumming!" :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate French toast casserole and ate his dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and mandarin oranges. How do you like this whacky first picture?!? Haha. Cal and I were having fun with this flexible sheet of magnifying plastic. You gotta big head on a little body there Cal!! :) Next picture: The kids were having fun with these cups, cutting up lots of beads, filling the cups, taping the top shut, and calling them "shakers." I ended up putting scotch tape on the top of Cal's cup - he didn't have very many beads in his - and they all stuck to the tape and wouldn't shake. Haha. He wasn't real thrilled with how that came out!! Next picture: Cal was just hanging out watching Atley and Avi folding paper following "Origami for Kids" on Youtube. Making a dog and bone. Miles is gone until Tuesday so Cal didn't have him to wrestle with today!! Haha. Last picture: Svea was putting a necklace on Cal's neck...
