Cal - 06/10/2022

Callahan ate cream of wheat cereal and a couple bites of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of chicken, ate whole wheat toast, two bites of his broccoli, and ate pineapple. So here's a Tidbit Cal randomly offered us at Lunch Time: "If you tip over and keep your mouth open then you won't gargle." Svea asked, "What does that mean!?!?" Sorry Svea I can't help you because I have NO idea. Hahaha.

The kids had a fun morning. (Judging by the laughter and play!! Ha!) Micala and Nicole (and baby Paisley) stopped for a few minutes to pick up some things and Cal was happy to see Nicole. (They are the ones who stayed with us for 3 or 4 weeks.) In the first picture Cal and Miles were playing with the cars and ramps and managed not to squabble long enough for me to get a picture. Haha.

Next three pictures: The kids were itching to get outside so we went out even though it was drizzling all morning. In this next picture they were deciding that it really might be raining!! Second picture: While we were standing there trying to determine the weather a crow landed on the wire above us. You can see it in the top middle of the picture. Last picture: However the flies were still landing on the side of the garage so the kids asked for the bug slapper! :)

Callahan ate kix cereal and fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, tomatoes, and cherries. I took this first picture shortly after Cal arrived and I just thought it was cute how he was sitting on the edge of the mattress reading his book. Second picture: He and Atley were having fun being silly before anyone else arrived. These two are basically on the same humor level. Haha. They find each other to be quite hilarious. Cal - 04/26/2021

Callahan ate two servings of bran cereal and ate most of raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumbers, ate avocado, and ate pears. At Lunch time Cal asked me; "How you day Gary?" Excellent. He'd repeat it; I'd say excellent. He finally said, "Say good." Haha. I didn't realize that was why he kept repeating it!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and these two guys were playing with the bunny ears. Miles put it on his head by himself one time, but in the second picture Cal had put it on him. :) Next picture: Miles likes getting in these tight spots and hanging out. Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, some whole wheat toast, half of his beets, and ate applesauce.  Callahan and Svea were arguing about giving Alexa instructions. Cal was yelling, "more" and Svea was yelling, "Stop." That was bugging Eden and she came over and asked, "Why are you fighting?" And Cal verbalized it very well. Eden asked, "Do you know rock-paper-scissors?" That hit my funny bone. Oh well, nice try Eden. First picture: Story on the left and Eden on the right were pretending to sleep after Cal arrived and he was intent on waking them. Ha.
