Cal - 07/22/2022

Callahan ate bites of brown rice and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of salmon, two servings of whole wheat dinner roll, ate green beans, and ate mangoes. At lunch Cal said, "How's your salmon Miles?" Isn't that the cutest? Like a couple of old guys.

First picture: Cal waiting at the window to wave bye at Dad. He was chanting; "I'm a Yapper and I yap yap yap." Haha. (You're welcome!) Then I heard Cal doing a "knock knock" joke with Miles. 
Cal: "Knock Knock." Miles; "Who's there?" Cal: "Bob." Miles: "Bob Who?" Cal: "Bob, who almost pooped on your head." Then they laugh like it's the funniest thing they've ever heard. Ha. I was impressed how they did the "knock knock" joke correctly.

Next picture: I'm not sure what "game" Avi was trying to arrange here, but she was working hard to have them "lined up" correctly!! And she was learning that is not the easiest thing to do. Similar to herding cats! It was making me laugh. But your Form is awesome Avilene!! Following picture: Nora, Avi, and Svea are under the blanket with trouble lurking nearby! They said they were gonna stay under there until "Lunch Time." Ok, have fun for the next 90 minutes. Haha.

Next picture: Every day this week Cal has been working hard at "cutting" and practicing with the scissors. He says, "Can I do Art?" Which means "cutting" this week! :) Last picture: Cal has some sidewalk chalk in his right hand, but they look like they're coming back from a "Mission of Mischief!" :)

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
