Cal - 07/26/2022

Callahan ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, no brown rice, bite of squash, and ate mandarin oranges. "Yukky" and "Gross" were the most common adjectives for the squash. Haha. 

Cal telling me about last night at home: "Gary, when I was taking a bath I plug my nose like this, and then I put my head underwater." "And I could even touch the bottom with my hand." Haha.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Cal stuck one of the food toys - banana - into the end of a doll bottle. (The bottle is broken and the end is open.) He was pretty proud of his invention!! "Hey Gary! Look! I made a gun shooter!!" Ha.

Next picture: Well this is a classic example of "When the cats are away, the mice will play!!" The girls guarded their jewelry boxes and jewels very closely this morning, but the boys were ready to pounce. Especially Cal! It was driving him nuts that he couldn't rummage through the goodies! The boys would come around and stick their noses in, but they were quickly run off. Haha.

Next picture: As soon as we went outside Callahan started practicing "balancing." (His word.) Then Miles went over and joined him and I thought they were doing pretty well. Apparently Svea disagreed. She was quick to judge their style. "That's not how you do it Cal!!" :) Last picture; Miles has recently conquered pedaling and he's doing well with it now. The boys rode the bikes up and down the sidewalk for several minutes. The kids were complaining about the heat this morning before it really started getting hot. Ha. So I think we'll be spending the mornings outside and the afternoons inside.

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Cal - 08/16/2022

Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
