Cal - 07/27/2022

Callahan ate two servings of whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, potatoes, and mango/strawberries.

First picture: Micala stopped by for a few minutes yesterday and her baby is growing and SO cute. Cal was very interested in Paisley. He was handing her a food toy and said, "Here you go." Second picture: Svea and Nora had just relocated their "house" and of course the boys were peering inside monitoring their progress. Cal was whispering to Miles about "stealing their babies." Haha. Goofballs. You can see Nora's legs as she's standing on the block cabinet monitoring the situation!! You boys are living dangerously!! Then the boys declared they were "gonna fight em!" Did I mention these boys are Goofballs!?! Haha.

Next picture: First thing this morning Miles and Cal was going off the balance beam backwards and I was cringing watching their heads bounce on the mattress. (Thinking about them banging heads yesterday.) So here's a good picture of "boys at play." Cal was saying, "Tell me when you're ready!" And giving Miles a big push. And they were taking turns doing this to each other, laughing like wild children. Haha. It's kind of amazing the average male lives as long as we do!! :)

Next picture: Some outside time this morning - the boys riding their bikes and the girls searching for roly-poly bugs. Actually Miles spotted several bugs for them. Side note: Miles was showing the bugs to an older lady walking by and it was very apparent she didn't like bugs and wasn't impressed. Haha. She said, "Well I'm sure they're nice" as she walked faster!! :) Last picture: They asked if they could play with the "rain toys" so we did that. No rain, but too hot to be in the sun!!

Hello to all of Cal and Hudson's Family!! As you all know Little Treasures is soon to close it's doors and I'll be moving on to another phase of my life. I'm totally serious when I say all the Boyle Family has been super close to my heart and all of you guys are the best. It's all passed so quickly and today is Cal's last day here. What a blast it's been to have Cal in my Program. As he's gotten older and his sense of humor has developed I must say; I think Cal and I are both inflicted with a serious case of silliness!! Haha. Callahan ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two large servings of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of two large servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate green beans, and fruit salad. First picture: The girls were doing "origami for children" and following an instructional video folding paper into butterflies. Cal wanted to do some kind of Art so he decided on practicing some cutting again. That's been his "go to thing" lately. He always asks if he can put the many pieces on his Cubby for "Mom and Dad." Haha. Second picture; Having fun with Avi. She loves to rough-house with the boys and of course they love it as well! It's no wonder why Avi, Cal, and Miles are good buddies. Next two pictures: Miles brought his Fire Truck today and shared it for a short period. He was fine sharing with Avi, but didn't want Cal to touch it. So it went back to his Cubby. Callahan ate waffle and two large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple pieces.  This was Cal's first activity after waving bye to Dad and Hudson this morning. Art projects haven't been his first choice so this is picture worthy!! :) Next picture; The boys wanted Avi to lift them out of the chair and of course she was ready to oblige them. Uhhmmm, maybe you should take your game to the Play room where the landing is not hardwood floor. But first I gotta get a picture. Ha. Following picture: They were doing random jumps, butt bombs, and face plants. I encouraged them to synchronize their maneuvers for a photo - haha, right - but I could have stood there taking pictures all day and it probably wouldn't have happened.
